275 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND KUTASIENSKI, John Wesley “Wes” Wes was born on December 7, 1941 in Oshawa, Ontario. He enlisted in the Canadian Army (RCASC) in January 1962 and completed basic training and received trade certificate in Camp Borden, ON. He was honourably discharged in February 1963. He met his wife (Loesje) and married in 1963. They have been married for 54 years and blessed with two children and four grandchildren. He joined The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 197 Acton in 1994 and served on most executive positions are over twenty years, including five terms as President (2005 to 2010). He was awarded a Life Membership in 2012. He served as Zone and District Commander from 2008 to 2016 and continues to serve his Branch as Special Projects Chairman, District B as Immediate Past Commander and VSS Chairman. Wes was elected to a position of Vice-President of Ontario Command 2017-2019. LACHANCE, Patrick Michael Patrick was born inWindsor, Ontario on July 27, 1946. He was in the Army Reserves prior to joining the Regular Force as a medic. He served in Canada and Continental Europe. After his release, he returned to Windsor where he again joined the Reserves as an Officer Cadet and enrolled in the University of Windsor. He had a successful career after obtaining his master’s degree in social work. LACHANCE, Michael Anthony Michael was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 24, 1954. When his father retired from the Navy in 1961, he moved toWindsor, Ontario at the age of seven. He enlisted in the Army on November 18, 1969 and served in Canada with the Essex Scottish Regiment. He was discharged on August 31, 1972. After service with the Reserve Force, he was employed in Windsor where he still resides.
