He enlisted in the Air Force during World War II with the RCAF as LAC. He served in Canada, Penfield Air Base. He was discharged on May 29, 1946. Gordon was a member of the Legion Branch 197 Acton for sixty years. He was past President of the Legion Branch 197, Chairman of Building Committee for new Legion Branch and Seniors Residence. Gordon passed away on October 23, 2012. McDONALD, Gilbert Anthony Gilbert was born in Timmins, Ontario on February 28, 1923. He enlisted in the Army in 1941 with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. He served in Canada and Overseas during World War II and was discharged in 1945. He was a member of the HT Church Legion Branch 024. Gilbert passed away on February 7, 2007. McCUTCHEON (BAYLISS), Patricia Mae Patricia was born in Acton on May 26, 1926. She enlisted in the Navy on February 7, 1945 with HMCS Peregrine, Land Base. She served in Canada during World War II as a wardroom attendant. Patricia was discharged on March 26, 1945.
