281 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND MacDONALD, Alec Alec was born in Williamstown, Ontario on June 3, 1911. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and was shipped overseas during World War II. He was a member of Frontier Legion Branch 71. Alec passed away in July 1980. MacLEOD, Archibald Alexander Archibald was born in Moncton, New Brunswick in 1892. He graduated from Acadia University with BA and BD degrees and served for many years as a respected member of the Baptist Clergy in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. During World War II, he served as Chaplain (P) in the Canadian Army during World War II. After the war, he again served the Ministry in Several Maritime Churches. He died in Saint John, NB in 1953 and survived by six children and fifteen grandchildren. MacDONALD, George H. George was born in Port Howe, Nova Scotia on June 28, 1922. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on October 20, 1942. He served in Canada, England, France and Germany during World War II. He was discharged on January 5, 1946. George worked with Canada Customs for thirty years at Peace Bridge, Fort Erie, Ontario. He was a member of Frontier Legion Branch 71. George passed away on June 3, 2010.
