275 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND LOCKEYER, George Thomas George was born in Lilly Lake on Manitoulin Island, Ontario on March 22, 1898. He enlisted in the Army on March 3, 1916 during World War I and served with the 119th OS Battalion. He served in England and France before being discharged on March 29, 1919. George had one son. He passed away in July 1963. LOUTTET, Robert James Robert was born in Acton, Ontario on May 10, 1922. He enlisted in the Army in April 1942 with the Lorne Scotts. He served in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during World War II. Robert was discharged on February 6, 1946. He was a member of the Acton Legion Branch 197. Robert passed away on November 12, 1991. LOCKEYER, Norman Franklin Norman was born in Bidwell Township on Manitoulin Island, Ontario on August 3, 1920. He enlisted in the Army on April 16, 1942 and served with the 4 Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery during World War II. Norman was killed in action in France on July 13, 1944. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp along with the 1939-1945 France and Germany Star.
