459 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND PRESSEY, Leslie John Henry Leslie was born in St Thomas, Ontario on December 22, 1928. He served with the Sea Cadet Corps (all ranks) from 1940 to 1947 and he was a Midshipman, Sub. Lt., Lieutenant and C.O. from 1947 to 1956. He returned as Ex.O. from 1961 to 1969. He was on the Supplementary list in 1969. In 1968, he was appointed Sub. Lieut. RCNR, in 1966 he received the C.D., in 1984. Leslie served St Thomas City Police as a Detective from 1951-1967. PRICE, Robert H. Robert was born in London, England on November 29, 1921. He enlisted in the Army on December 12, 1938 and served with the British Royal Corp of Signals in England, India and Burma during World War II. Robert was discharged on June 14, 1946. His medals include the Order of the British Empire Medal and the Burma Star. Robert was a volunteer RSM of Canadian Signal Corp at Woolsley Barracks in the late 1950s and voluntary RSM of the 3 RCR Regiment at the Dundas Street Armouries from January 1960 to May 1968. He was a member of R. E. Pooley Legion Branch 167 for thirteen years. Robert passed away on April 14, 2014. PREVOST, Amanda B. Amanda was born on December 17, 1981 in Lindsay, Ontario. She enlisted in the Navy on August 27, 2008 and serves with the Logistics Branch in Canada. Amanda is looking forward to a full career in the Royal Canadian Navy. Her grandfather, Jordan Wray Johnston, served with the Royal Canadian Corp of Signals during World War II. Her brother Joshua A. Johnston is currently serving with the Canadian Army.
