349 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND LOVE, Howard O. Howard was born in Elgin House, Muskoka, Ontario in 1915 or 1916. He enlisted in the Army and served with the RCASC in England during World War II. Captain H. O. Love was wounded during battle. An Army doctor treated his arm but he later died from an infection in January 1945 or 1946. LUKE, Ross George Ross was born in Cannington, Ontario on August 31, 1898. He enlisted in the Army on June 1, 1918 in Regina, Saskatchewan and served with the Canadian War Graves Detachment in Flanders Fields during World War I. He received the British War Medal and was honourably discharged in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ross and Della Viola Moore were married on October 10, 1923. They farmed on the 7th Concession, Scott Township, later moving to Greenbank, then to Port Perry where they resided until their death. Ross was employed at Bennett Paving for twenty years. He was a member of Port Perry Legion Branch 419 for thirteen years. Ross passed away on July 1, 1985. LUHTA, Raymond William Raymond was born in Timmins, Ontario on October 3, 1934. He enlisted in the Air Force on January 7, 1957 and served with 4F Wing in Baden Solingen, Germany and the RCAF Station in North Bay, Ontario. He was discharged on October 6, 1964. Raymond has been a member of Arnprior Legion Branch 174 for eight years.
