211 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND FOSTER, Robert W. Robert was born in Walters Falls, Holland Township, Grey County on March 18, 1897. He enlisted in the Army on January 6, 1916 and served with the 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles, Canadian Infantry in England and France during World War I. Robert was killed in action on April 22, 1918 in Vimy Ridge and is buried at the Vimy Memorial in France. FOX, Harry Edward Harry was born on September 19, 1920. He enlisted in the Navy on July 18, 1941 and served in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean during World War II. He was discharged on August 28, 1945 with the rank of Stoker 2C. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the Defence Medal, the CVSM and Clasp and the War Medal. Harry passed away on October 3, 1972. FOSTER, William E. William was born in Sullivan Township, Grey County on September 22, 1890. He enlisted in the Army on February 26, 1916 and served with the Canadian Infantry, 58 Battalion in Canada, England and France during World War I. William was killed in action on August 8, 1919 in France. He is buried in Hourges Orchard Cemetery, Domart-sur-la-Luce, France.
