389 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND NUNN, Robert H. Robert was posted to England with the Royal Canadian Engineers to build Quonset huts for future hospitals. In February of 1943, he returned to Canada to attend officers training at three Rivers, Quebec and graduated as 2nd Lieutenant. In May of 1944, he was posted in England with the Argyle and Sutherland Highland Regiment. On July 27, 1944 Robert was wounded in France at Falaise Gap and evacuated to Botley Park Hospital in England. Following his recovery, he was posted to the Canadian Military Headquarters in London until the end of the war. O’NEILL, Terrance P. Terrance was born on May 3, 1936 in Bancroft, Ontario. He enlisted in July of 1956 with the 423(F) Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served in Canada-France (NATO) during peacetime and was discharged in July of 1965. He received his 1000 hours certificate on the CF100 A.W.F. plane at 2(F) Wing in Grotenquin, France. Terrance has been a member of the Hastings Legion Branch 106 for 35 years. O’HARA, Anthony M. Anthony was born on July 24, 1947 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He enlisted in the Navy on July 9, 1965. He served onboard the HMCS Cornwallis, Assiniboine, Iroquois, Saguenay, Okanagan, Ojibwa and Onondaga. He also served on submarines from May 1968 to April 1977. He served in Canada and on the High Seas. He was discharged on September 9, 1989. For his service, Anthony received the Silver, Gold and Diamond Jubilee Medals, the CD and Clasp and the Special Service Medal. Anthony has been a member of the Bruce Mines Legion Branch 211 for six years.
