283 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND LEHTISAARI, Reino A. Reino was born on July 16, 1943 in Kapuskasing, Ontario. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on December 1961 and served with the Central Flying School training Command and No. 3 ATS Advanced Jet School. Following his discharge in December 1966, he returned to Kapuskasing and was employed by the local paper company for 38 years. Reino has been a member of Kapuskasing Legion Branch 85 for 37 years. LEPAGE, André P. André was born in La Tuque, QC on March 31, 1948. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on February 15, 1967 and served in Canada, Israel, and Egypt. Master Corporal Lepage was discharged on February 15, 1992 and was awarded the Canadian Forces Decorations, the Egypt Medal, and the Israel Medal. André served as a flight steward for two years in Canada, the United States and Europe. LEIGH, Harvey D. Harvey was born on November 15, 1921 in Orillia, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army in May 1943 and served with the Oxford Rifles on the West Coast of Canada in defense of possible Japanese attacks. He was stationed at Prince George, Nanaimo, and Terrace, BC. While in Terrace, he taught mountain warfare to others. Upon return to civilian life, Harvey started a career in manufacturing engineering of mining equipment.
