A proud member of a patriotic family, his father was a World War II veteran and his four brothers all served in the Royal Canadian Army. He joined the Royal Canadian Army in 1962 and served with the Irish Regiment of Canada. Peter was discharged in 1968. LEBLANC, Thaddée “Ted” Ted was born on December 11, 1919 in Moncton, NB. He joined the Royal Canadian Army in 1939 and served with the Carleton York Regiment in England, Sicily, Italy, France, Holland, and Germany during World War II. Following his discharge in 1945, he served with the Irish Regiment of Canada in the militia from 1947-1954. He had five sons and every one of them served in the Canadian Army. Ted was a member of St Marys Legion Branch 236 for 27 years. LEBLANC, Randy G. Randy was born on June 30, 1961 in Sudbury, ON. He came from a patriotic family, his father was a World War II veteran and his four brothers all served in the Royal Canadian Army. He joined the Royal Canadian Army in 1980 and served with the Lord Strathcona’s Horse. Randy was discharged in 1985. Prior to his time in the regular force, Randy served in the Reserved with the 11th Field Artillery Regiment in Guelph, ON from 1977-1979. Randy was a member of St Marys Legion Branch 236 for 10 years.
