He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army on November 29, 1966 and served with the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Germany and the Middle East. He did a tour with NATO and the United Nations and served with the Royal Canadian Dragoons and in the Canadian Airborne Regiment. He obtained the rank of Warrant Officer. Robert has been a member of Waterford Legion Branch 123 for 34 years. GORDON, Ernest P. Ernest was born on July 16, 1923 in Eldorado, ON. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army on August 11, 1942 and served in the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment in Italy during World War II. He was discharged on February 11, 1946 and returned to Marmora, where he married and raised two sons. He was a member of Marmora Legion Branch 237 for 35 years. Ernest passed away on April 1, 1980. GOODWIN, Wray E. Wray was born on July 22, 1918 in Brantford, ON. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army on April 28, 1942 and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in England, France, Holland, and Germany during World War II. Corporal Goodwin returned to Waterford when he was discharged on March 13, 1946. He was a member of Waterford Legion Branch 123 for 28 years and served as President in 1951. Wray passed away on February 20, 1974.
