He joined the Army on August 18, 1950 and served with the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, 2nd Battalion in Korea, celebrating his 19th birthday in Kapuskasing Yong. He was discharged on August 14, 1952. Donald was a member of Sunset Post Legion Branch 523 for thirty years before he passed away on December 24, 2009. SHUTTLEWORTH, Arthur David Arthur was born on March 30, 1942 in Sault Ste. Marie. He enlisted in the Army on November 9, 1959 and served as a Peacekeeper with 2 Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He was discharged on December 21, 1965. David passed away on June 5, 2011. SHAW, Lorne W. Lorne was born on February1, 1926 in Paris, Ontario. He joined the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals on April 5, 1944 and served in the South Pacific area with the 1st Canadian Special Wireless Group. He was discharged on May 2, 1946. Lone has been a member of Port Perry Legion Branch 419 for twenty-four years.
