The investigation revealed that Matthew Harrie was last observed outside his rural dwelling in Whittenburg, Nova Scotia on September 20, 2020. He has not been seen by family or friends since that time and has had no contact with anyone including his parents who he contacted regularly. Michael Gerald STEELE Mr. Steele was last seen at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital visiting his mother on March 13, 2019. He is described as white, about five feet, eight inches tall and 155 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes. Joseph ‘JoJo’ BEALS On February 20, 2021, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Mount Edward Road in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Further investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle had been shot and the vehicle collision was the result of same. Joseph Beals was transported to hospital where he passed away. The medical examiner ruled the cause of death was a homicide.
