Received the British War Medal and Victory Medal. Killed in action in Battle of Marcoing and Masnières on November 20, 1917. Buried in Marcoing British Cemetery, France. SAMSON, Neville Service # 3544 Born in Flat Islands, Bonavista Bay on January 27, 1897. Enlisted on March 16, 1917 as one of Coaker’s Recruits. Killed in action on December 3, 1917 at the Battle of Cambrai.
