Served with The Royal Newfoundland Regiment from March 11, 1918 to June 3, 1919. He was a member of Channel Branch #11 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Passed away on January 12, 1973. HODDER, Walter Victor Service # 2416X Born in New Bonaventure, Trinity Bay. Served with the Royal Navy. He is deceased. HODDINOTT, Ludwig D. Service # 2234 Born in Greenspond, Bonavista Bay in June 1893. Enlisted in the Newfoundland Regiment in Grand Falls in March 1916 and was promoted to Corporal in May 1916 and to acting Sergeant in June 1916. He was killed in action at Monchy on April 14, 1917 at the age of 23 years.
