FARRELL, Martin Patrick Service # 1798 Born in Marystown, Placentia Bay. Enlisted in The Royal Newfoundland Regiment in 1914. He was killed in action in the Battle of the Somme in July 1916. FITZGERALD, John J. Service # 5267 Born in Tilton, Conception Bay in 1876. He served with the Army from 1914 to 1918. He was a member of Cpl. Matthew Brazil Branch 9 of The Royal Canadian Legion in Spaniardʼs Bay. Passed away on June 3, 1958.
