EDWARDS, Alphonsus Service # 2287 Born in Grand Falls, the son of Clara and Joseph Edwards. Served with The Royal Newfoundland Regiment. Passed away on May 5, 1918 at the age of 21 from wounds received at Bailleul. He is buried at Boulogne Cemetery in France. EDWARDS, John C. Service # 450 Born in Grand Falls, the son of Joseph and Clara Edwards. Served with The Royal Newfoundland Regiment. Passed away on July 21, 1916 at the age of 24 from wounds received at Beaumont-Hamel. He is buried at Wandsworth Cemetery in England.
