MURRAY-POWER, Trudy Kristine Regimental # 32690 Officer # 2245 Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia on March 26, 1956. She joined the RCMP in July of 1975 to July 2012. She was posted in Stephenville, Labrador City, St. John’s, Gander, Carmanville, Regina, Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Halifax, NS. Trudy took her Commission as Inspector, in charge of Human Resources in St. John’s. After 37 years, she retired as the longest serving female RCMP police officer in Canada. She received the Canada 125 Medal, Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Long Service Medal with Gold Clasp for her years of dedication and service. Trudy is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 56 Pleasantville. Volume 21 www.legionnl.com 155 FRASER, Clyde Lindsay Regimental # 22711 Born in Meagher’s Grant, Nova Scotia on June 5, 1943. Joined the RCMP on July 26, 1962 to August 19, 2019. He was stationed in St. John’s, Glovertown, Lewisporte, Goose Bay, Corner Brook city and rural detachment, Labrador City, Gander and Gander International Airport from May 1963 to August 2019.
