He joined the Royal Naval Reserve on March 24, 1916 and trained on the HMS Vivid and later the HMS Columbella. He saw action in the North Atlantic and the English Channel. He was discharged in February 1919. DECEASED COOPER, Ephriam Service # 4056 Born on October 5, 1894 in Trinity Bay, NL. Served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment from October 31, 1917 to July 5, 1919. He served in France and Belgium “B Company” 5th Platoon until the end of the war. DECEASED DELANEY, Bernard Service # 2775 Born on Gull Island, NL in November 1985. Served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment from May 1, 1916 to February 1, 1919. He is a past member of Carbonear Branch # 23 of The Royal Canadian Legion. DECEASED
