She married Stephen Higdon, who served with the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit on October 22, 1941 at Loch Awe, Argyleshire, Scotland. They moved to Dildo, NL in August 1945. She was President of the Ladies Auxiliary Sgt. Levi Hollett Branch # 39 and was voted Citizen of the Year for Dildo in 1988. DECEASED: June 21, 1990 FROUDE (MacCALLUM), Mary Mary (MacCallum) Froude was born in Kilmartin, Kilmichael Glossary, Scotland on July 11, 1912. She arrived in Newfoundland in October 1946. She was the wife of Cyril Froude of Twillingate, NL. She served on the Ladies Auxiliary of Windsor Branch # 49 of The Royal Canadian Legion. DECEASED: April 2, 1993 BAIRD, Mary Irene Served with Fire Watch in London, UK. Born on July 4, 1917 in Toronto, ON. DECEASED: September 4, 1998
