He joined the Royal Highland Fusiliers in 1915, demobilized on March 27,1919. He moved to Grand Falls, NL in 1923. DECEASED: July 28, 1978 BARRETT, Joseph Service # 5090 Born in Spaniard’s Bay, NL on March 3, 1898. Served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment from 1917 to 1918. He was a member of Cpl. M. Brazil Branch # 9 of The Royal Canadian Legion. DECEASED: January 19, 1964
