He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 1 St. John’s. DECEASED: January 2nd, 1984 FENNELLY, Leo Joseph Service # 13528-H Born in Port Kirwan (Fermeuse) on April 22, 1931. He served with the Canadian Navy from 1949-54 and during the Korean War from 1950-51. He served on the HMCS Ontario and HMCS Cayuga, a destroyer that was part of the initial first dispatch of 3 ships by Canada to Korea. The ship was based out of Sasabo, Japan. Mr. Fennelly is residing in Mount Pearl, NL and is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36 Mount Pearl. PAUL, Pte Alphonsus Born in Ferryland, NL on April 30th, 1930. He served with the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) during the Korean War conflict. DECEASED: April 16th, 2009
