This year’s edition of Lest We Forget once again tells us of those that fought with so much bravery and courage, and shows us the faces that continue to inspire us and fill us with pride, all these years later. We must never forget them. Our veterans have done so much more than simply protecting us here at home. The world knows Canada as a strong, brave, and kind country because of the work that our fine military people do at home and abroad. Because of their heroism and humanity, this world is a better place. It is difficult to express just how incredibly proud we are as Canadians that our soldiers have been a beacon of hope for so many. On behalf of the people of Labrador, I extend our deep and heartfelt gratitude to those that have served our great nation, especially those that have made the ultimate sacrifice during their service. I will always fight to support our veterans. Their gift to us has been too great to forget, and they deserve services and benefits they have earned through their dedication and hard work.
