She married Stanley Charles Windsor of Aquaforte, Newfoundland, a member of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment on March 9th, 1918 in Hawick, Scotland. Upon arrival to Newfoundland, Stan and Mary made their home in St. John’s. They had 7 children, their eldest son Billy, a WWII veteran was lost on the S.S. Caribou.
