Military Service Recognition Book - Volume 9

www.nfld.net/rclnfprovcom 5 The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-Newfoundland and Labrador (CHHA-NL) is proud to support the Annual War Service Recognition Book, sponsored by The Royal Canadian Legion Newfoundland & Labrador Command to give recognition and respect to all the veterans from our province who served their country during both World Wars, the Korean War, and now serving in Afghanistan. It is important that we keep alive the memory of those who sacrificed so much so that we can live in peace. Many soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives; while others suffered disabling injuries, both mentally and physically, including hearing loss. The CHHA-NL provides a wide variety of hearing loss support services free of charge to the public. If you have a Veteran in your family who you think could benefit from any of our support services, please contact us at: CHHA-NL Suite 103, 136 Crosbie Road (Viking Building) St. John’s, NL, A1B 3K3 (709) 753-3224 (Voice/TTY) (709) 753-5640 (Fax) Toll Free 1-888-753-3224 E-mail: chhanl@nfld.net www.chha-nl.nl.ca “Lest We Forget” THE CORNER STORE 387 - 389 MAIN RD.
