Brown was born in Salvage, Newfoundland on July 25th, 1912. He served with the Merchant Navy from June 25th, 1940 to July 18th, 1946. He was a member of Eastport Branch # 41 of The Royal Canadian Legion. He passed away on April 9th, 1988. George Brewer Service #: JX212474 George Brewer was born in Epworth, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland in 1918. He enlisted in the Royal Navy in 1940 and after training he was posted to the Battle Ship HMS Hood. He was killed in action on 24th May, 1941.
