Private William Ambrose Sulley Service #: 1616 Private Wi l l iam Ambrose Sul ley was born inn Southern Harbour, Newfoundland on January 1sst, 1894. He enlisted with the Royal Newfoundland ou a Regiment on 26tthh April 1915. He was one of the soldiers who answered the Roll Call following the all fol Battle of Beaumont Hameel on 1sstt July, 1916. He was wounded on 5tthh February, 1918, and was admitted to Wadsworth hospital, Rouen, France, with a gun shot wound to his right thigh. He wass Honorably discharged from service on Apriil 1sstt , 1918. He passed away on 29tthh July, 1970.
