Matthew Brazil Branch # 9 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Spaniardʼs Bay. He served with the Army from 1914 – 1918. His is deceased. Agustus Dawson Service #: 1340 Agustus Dawson served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. He is deceased. Walter Joseph Critch Service #: 124X Walter Joseph Critch was born in Random, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. He Enlisted with the Royal (Newfoundland) Naval Reserves on 21st October, 1914 at the age of 22; he received a Meritorious Service Medal for his actions in saving the l ives of Naval divers fol lowing the Hal ifax explosion of 6th December 1917. He was serving on HMCS Niobe at the time. He passed away in 1982.
