He served with the Navy from February of 1981 to July of 1991. He is presently a member of Bay Roberts Branch # 32 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Arthur Edmund (ED) Jackman Service #: SN2683 Arthur Jackman was born in Grand Fal ls, Newfoundland on 19th July, 1938. He served with the Army from 19th December, 1956 to 30th January, 1963. He is presently a member of Bay Roberts Branch # 32 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Nelson Granter Service #: 3745 Nelson Granter was born in Deer Lake, Newfoundland on 7th January, 1941. He served with the Army – RC Signals Corps, from 8th September, 1959 to 17th October, 1968. “ONUC Congo” – 1961. He presently resides in Gambo, Newfoundland and is a member of Eastport Branch # 41 of The Royal Canadian Legion as well as presently serving on the Provincial Executive Counci l of Newfoundland Labrador Command as District Commander of District 05 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
