Norah (Hayes) Martin Service #: 26873 Norah Martin was born in Kingston - on - Thames, Surey, England on 28th October, 1922. She served with the Woman’s Royal Naval Service from October 21st, 1942 to January, 1946. She arrived in Newfoundland on 31st March, 1946. She is presently living in Gander, Newfoundland. Ethel (Hodgson) Noftall Ethel Noftall was born in Wombwell, England on 24th April, 1922. She married Gordon Noftall, Royal Navy on 26th August, 1944. She is presently living in Grand Falls and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Grand Falls Branch # 12 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Jean McLintock McPherson Jean McLintock McPherson was born in Glasgow, Scotland. She served as a Telephone Operator. She married Larry Gladney, in 1941 when he was in Scotland serving with the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit. She arrived in Newfoundland in 1945. She is presently living in Clarenville, Newfoundland and a member of Clarenville Branch # 27 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
