She arrived in Newfoundland on 14th December 1945. She passed away on 9th January, 1981. Sgt. Thelma (Marper) Kirby Service #: W/146478 Thelma Kirby was born in Australia on July 27th, 1921. She served with the ATS from 2/4/1942 to 8/8/1945. She arrived in Newfoundland on January 14th, 1946. She was a member of Pleasantville Branch # 56 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Betty Hunt Service #: 21421 Betty Hunt was born in Chatham, England on January 1st, 1920. She served with the WRNS, HMS Collingwood, Portsmouth, England from January 1941 to June 1945. She arrived in Newfoundland in January, 1946. She is a member of Deer Lake Branch # 03 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
