Lest We Forget - Volume 5 Margaret (Hoult) Thornhill Margaret Hoult was born in Liverpool, England on 17th February, 1921. She married William G. Thornhill of Fortune, Newfoundland. They had three children: Ronald, Blanche and Calvin. Margaret passed away on 19th December 1997. Margaret Young Margaret Young was born in Boness, Scotland on 17th August, 1922. She served with the WRENS (Navy) from 1939 - 1945. She passed away on 22nd February, 1983. She arrived in Newfoundland in 1946. “Lest We Forget” War Service Recognition Booklet 106
