He served with the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Corps. He passed away in 1962 William Cleal Service #: VR-121 William Cleal was born on 9th February, 1896 in Creston South, Marystown, Newfoundland. He served with the Royal Canadian Navy Vol. Reserve from 1st April, 1916 to 29th December 1918. He passed away on 21st August, 1973. Edward (Ted) Doyle Service #: 1299 Edward Doyle was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland on November 30th, 1898. He served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment - Draft # 4 - E Company from 18th March, 1915 to 29th September, 1918. He was wounded at Beaumont Hamel on 1st July, 1916 and at Ypres on 29th September, 1918. He passed away on October 30th, 1962 at the age of 64 years.

He was a member of St. Anthony Branch # 17 of The Royal Canadian Legion. Frederick Jones Service #: 3145 Frederick Jones was born in Morton’s Harbour, Newfoundland on June 29, 1890. He served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment from 1914 - 1918. He passed away on January 29, 1975. He was a member of Lewisporte Branch #31 of The Royal Canadian Legion.

He served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment from 1914 - 1916. He was wounded at Beaumont Hamel on 1st July 1916. He served with the Merchant Navy from 1940 - 1945. Peter Rose Service #: 2474 Peter Rose was born in Twillingate, Newfoundland in 1898. He served with the 1st Newfoundland Regiment from 1915 - 14th April, 1917. He was killed in action at Monchy on 14th April, 1917 at the age on 19 years. 2Lt. H. John R. Rowsell Service #: 619 John R. Rowsell, son of John and Lydia Rowsell, was born in Bonavista, NL. He served with the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. He was wounded at Beaumont Hamel and died of wounds on July 8th, 1916. He was buried at Abbeville Communal Cemetery.
