WORKSHOPS We offer workshops for professionals, employers, education institutions, government offices, and the general public who work with or care for persons living with mental illness. Co-Workers First Engaging Employees in Mental Wellness This one-day training is designed to provide leaders within a workplace environment with the necessary information and strategies to build positive mental health and well-being for all employees while effectively supporting indiviual employees with mental health concerns. Changing Minds An innovative, multi-use, mental illness education program. This two-day training was created in order to address a community need for mental health education, stigma reduction and to promote a better understanding of mental health and mental illness. This powerful and engaging workshop will change your mind regarding people with mental illness. ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) This two-day workshop emphasizes suicide first-aid and helping a person at risk stay safe and seek further help. Trains attendees how to recognize invitations for help, how to reach out and offer support, how to review the risk of suicide, how to apply a suicide intervention model, and provides them with a link to community resources. This workshop is designed for clinicians, social workers, teachers, nurses, police, clergy, probation officers, front line workers, parents and the concerned public.
