Clark, Canadian Army. Clarence served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals and went overseas about 1943. After the war he continued to serve in the Reserve Signal Corps in Saint John, retiring in 1967 as the Regimental Sergeant Major. He was a cook after the war at the Admiral Beatty Hotel, the General Hospital, and the Ridgewood Rehabilitation Centre. He was a member of the Peninsula Branch 62 of the Royal Canadian Legion and also of theWarrant Officers and Sergeants Mess at the Barrack Green Armoury. Clarence died in 1987. Sergent Clarence J. WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Lance Corporal Frank H. Cobb, Canadian Army. Before the war Frank worked as a meat cutter. Frank enlisted in 1942 and served with the North Shore (New Brunswick) Regiment overseas. Frank landed with his Regiment on D-Day. He died of his wounds in November 1944. Frank is buried in the Adegem Canadian War Cemetery in Belgium. Caporal suppléant Frank H. Cobb, Armée canadienne. Avant la guerre, Frank travaillait comme coupeur de viande. Frank est enterré au cimetière militaire canadien d’Adegem en Belgique. COLE, Ralph Frederick WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Ralph was born in Saint John, NB on March 8, 1918. He enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1940 and served with the Royal Canadian Signal Corp in Canada, England, France, Germany, Belgium and Holland. He was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal, the War Medal 1939-1945, and the CVSM with Clasp. After the war he returned to Perth-Andover to his two sons and two daughters. Ralph was a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion. He passed away in 1989 and is buried in the Larlee Creek Cemetery.
