Soumis par la Légion royale canadienne, filiale 85 d’Arthurette. FURNESS, Tom WWII/Deuxième Guerre mondiale Lance Sergeant Tom Furness, Royal Canadian Engineers. Tom enlisted in Saint John in 1940 and served at Fort Mispec and Charlottetown before going overseas to England. Tom remained in England for the duration of the war. He was discharged in 1946. After the war Tom worked as a lighthouse keeper. He died in 1980. Sergent suppléant Tom Furness, Royal Canadian Engineers. Tom s’est enrôlé à Saint John en 1940 et a servi à Fort Mispec et à Charlottetown avant d’aller outre-mer en Angleterre. Tom est resté en Angleterre pendant toute la durée de la guerre.
