He enlisted in the Army (service number H46053) in Winnipeg in 1940 and served overseas with the Lake Superior Regiment during World War II. Private Welcome Morris was discharged in Saint John, New Brunswick on February 16, 1946 and received the Service Medal. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Welcome passed away on November 10, 1992. MORRIS, Welcome Willard WWI Welcome was born in North Dakota in January 1894. He enlisted in the Army (service number 718936) in Winnipeg on March 24, 1916 and served with Disp Station N in France during World War I. Private Welcome Morris was discharged in Brandon on March 25, 1919 and received the Service Medal and Victory Medal. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 23. Lt Cdr Charles Munro was discharged in Winnipeg on November 27, 1944 and received the 1939-1945 Star and rosette and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He and his wife Laura Eileen had three children, Charleen, Susan, and William. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. MURPHY, Norman Joseph WWII Norman was born in Griffin, Saskatchewan on March 2, 1922. He enlisted in the Army (service number H22500) in Winnipeg on March 30, 1944 and served with the CIC during World War II. Private Norman Murphy was discharged in Fort Osborne on August 10, 1944. He and his wife Mary had one daughter, Joycelynn. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Norman passed away on October 12, 1986. MURRAY, Arthur Clifford WWII Arthur was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 2, 1922. He enlisted in the Army (service number H93420) in Dauphin, Manitoba on October 2, 1941 and served with the RCE in Canada and overseas during World War II. Sapper Arthur Murray was discharged in Winnipeg, Manitoba on February 23, 1946. He was married to Helen and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Arthur passed away on August 20, 1985. MURRAY, Arthur Rodges WWII Arthur was born in Middlebour, USA on July 24, 1901. He enlisted in the Army (service number 279843) on December 16, 1916 and served with the 8th Battalion CRT and 7th Field Coy CE in France and Belgium during World War I.
