He enlisted in the Army (service number L7955) in Saskatoon on September 28, 1940 and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Borden during World War II. He received a medical discharge in December 1940. He and his wife Helen had one daughter, Lynn, and one son, Barry. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. PELLETIER, Ivan Joseph WWII Ivan was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick. He enlisted in the Air Force in August 1942. In November 1943, F/O Ivan Pelletier went overseas and served in France, Germany and Denmark during World War II. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross. PELLETIER, Joseph Albert WWII Joseph was born in St. Boniface on January 28, 1910. He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg on April 14, 1944 and served with the CIC and CPC in Canada, the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during World War II. Sergeant Joseph Pelletier was discharged in Winnipeg on January 14, 1947. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He and his wife Anna Linnea had two children, Lauraine Ann and Joseph Albert. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon 73. Joseph passed away on June 16, 1996.
