He enlisted in the Army in Vancouver on February 1, 1943 and served with 9 C.A.R. (B.E.D.) in Italy and in Europe during World War II. Trooper Albert Bloxom was discharged on March 5, 1946. He and his wife Alma had one son, Cecil Perry. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Albert passed away on November 1, 1999. BOE, Arne WWII Arne enlisted in the Army on October 19, 1942 and served overseas with the 4th Canadian Armoured Corps during World War II. Sergeant Arne Boe was discharged on March 16, 1946. He received the 1939-1945 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. Arne was married to Janette. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Arne passed away on September 14, 1989. BOTTRELL, Robert Alex WWII Robert was born in Ochre River, Manitoba on February 7, 1921. He enlisted in the army in Sudbury on June 26, 1942 and served with the RCE overseas during World War II. Sapper Robert Bottrell was discharged on February 1, 1946 in Winnipeg and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He and his wife Hilda had three children, Robert, Grant and Margaret. He has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73.
