He joined World War II and served with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada in the United Kingdom and northwest Europe. Private Percy Beere was discharged on January 9, 1940. He was married to Eva and was working at the Vivian Hotel in 1967. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Neepawa Branch 23 for fifteen years. He passed away on May 29, 1986 and was buried at the Riverside Cemetery in Neepawa, Lot 3, Block 2, Range 25. BEEVER, Mary Margaret WWII Mary was born in Wheatland, Manitoba on November 23, 1925. She enlisted in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps in Winnipeg on April 28, 1943 and served in Canada. Private Mary Beever was discharged in Winnipeg on June 25, 1946 and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. She was married to Henry and they had a daughter, Terry, and a son, Randell. She was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Mary passed away on October 21, 2018. BEEVER, William Henry WWII William was born in Rivers, Manitoba on February 9. He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg in August 1944 and served with the CIC in Canada during World War II. Private William Beever was discharged in Winnipeg in April 1946. He received the Service Medal. He and his wife Margaret had a daughter, Terry, and a son, Randall. He has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73.
