Stephan has been a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. ASPLIN, Milton Murray WWII Milton was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on January 2, 1918. He enlisted in the Army in Portage la Prairie on August 5, 1940 and served with the RCA 37 and 17 Field Battery in Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy and northwest Europe. He received his discharge in Winnipeg on August 5, 1945. He was married to Marion. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Neepawa Branch 23 for 34 years from 1954 to 1978 and was president of the Branch in 1960. Milton passed away on October 19, 1978. AUNE, Alfred Harold WWII Alfred was born in Preeceville, Saskatchewan on June 26, 1917. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Winnipeg on May 24, 1942 and served in Europe during World War II. Private Alfred Aune was discharged in Vancouver on April 11, 1945. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He and his wife, Elma Anne, had three children, Karen, Larry and Marie. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73.
