He enlisted in the Army in Saskatoon on June 2, 1941. Joseph served in World War II with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy and the Northwest Europe. His service number was L8179. He was discharged on December 6, 1945 in Regina. He and his wife Marjorie had two daughters Moreen and JoAnne. Private Bryshun received the Service Medal. BUCHANAN, Alan Russell WWII Alan was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan on September 6, 1915. He enlisted in the Army at Portage la Prairie in May 1942. He served in Canada with the rank of Sergeant with the 33 CACTE. His service number was 64138. Alan was discharged in December 1945 in Winnipeg. He and his wife Jean had one son, Gordon, and one daughter, Judith. BULLIED, James W. WWII James was born in Treherne, Manitoba, in 1926 to Merrill and Ellen Bullied. After his tour of duty in the Army he returned home, and in 1947, he married Iris Morrow of Oakville, Manitoba, and raised two children and eventually moved to Calgary, Alberta. Jim passed away in 1976 in Kelowna, BC.
