189 The Royal Canadian Legion MANITOBA & NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO COMMAND www.mbnwo.ca PASOWISTY, Eugene WWII Eugene was born in Elk Ranch, Manitoba, and joined the Bailey Bridges, RCE Engineering Corps in February 1941 and served in England, France, Holland and Germany. He received injuries to his back and ankle, and was discharged in November 1945 at the end of the war. Eugene received many medals for his war effort and passed away in 1980. PATON, Thomas A. B. WWII & PEACETIME Thomas was born in Lawson, Saskatchewan, in 1920. He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and again in 1948, serving in Canada, Britain and Northwestern Europe. He passed away in 1993 and had been a member of Fort Garry Branch 90 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 25 years. PATTERSON, Tim WWII Tim was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and joined the RCN (Signals) serving in Canada, Britain and the High Seas. He passed away in 2004 and had been a member of Fort Garry Branch 90 of The Royal Canadian Legion for fifty years.
