He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army Service on September 9, 1943, in Winnipeg, MB, at age nineteen, as a private and was employed as a driver serving overseas in the United Kingdom for a period of time and was discharged on April 5, 1946. Lyle passed away in 2001, and was a member of Morris Branch 111 for forty years. He received the Voluntary Medal, the Defence Medal and the War Medal. OLIVER, Reginald M. WWI Reginald was born in England and joined the 79th Overseas Battalion as a bass drummer serving in Canada and England. He passed away in 1964, and had been a member of Miniota Branch 66 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 38 years. OMIT, Orrie Howard WWII Orrie was born in 1918. He enlisted in the Army and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Canada and overseas during World War II. His service number was L-8081. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. Orrie passed away in 1993.
