WWII Charles was born in Raymond, Ontario, in 1904 and joined the Royal Canadian Engineers B-55074 serving in England and Italy. He passed away in 1985 and had been a Life Member of the Robert Frost Branch 133 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 35 years. ANDREWS, George J. WWII George was born in NE-28-6-28 on July 2, 1922. He joined the Royal Canadian Engineers, serving in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe. He received the 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp. He passed away on July 29, 1993 and was a member of the Elizabeth Branch 106 of The Royal Canadian Legion in Reston, MB, for 39 years. ARCHER, Eric S. WWII Eric was born in Binscarth in 1917 and signed up with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940 as an airframe mechanic and was sent to school for 18 weeks. On April 18, 1941, he enlisted and was sent to SFIS Brantford, the initial training depot and was then sent to St. Thomas, which was the Canadian Technical School for four months. He went overseas in December 1941, and spent some time in the south of England and the Shetland Islands in Scotland. Eric came home in 1944, and was discharged in January 1945. He passed away in 2000 and had been a member of Branch 55 of The Royal Canadian Legion for 56 years.
