He served with the Army on unit #10 DD PPLT in Canada during World War II. His service number was H9810. He was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. FRAME, Lawrence T. WWII Private Lawrence Frame was born in The Pas, Manitoba in 1918. He served in the Army with the RCA and RCAME in Canada during World War II. His service number was H-69916. Lawrence received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Flin Flon Branch 73. FRANSOO, Gerard Adolphe WWII Gerard was born in 1920 and enlisted on January 8, 1942, in Portage la Prairie and transferred to the Minto Armouries on February 12, 1942, serving with the Winnipeg Grenadiers in Terrace, BC, being attested for active services as Corporal until April 30. On May 15, 1942, he was with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada and went overseas on September 16, 1942, as an Infantry Signaler. He had duty in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. Gerard was discharged on January 18, 1946, and joined The Royal Canadian Legion Norwood Branch 43 for six years and the Belgian Veteran’s Branch 107 for 47 years. He received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp 21- 1-44, 2R service 6-644, AWD 1939-1945 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence Medal #58 and the Overlord Liberty at Normandy. Gerard passed away in 2007.
