He enlisted in Cardiff in January 1916 and served in France. He was discharged in Manchester in January 1919. John received a Military Medal. COX, Andrew James WWII Andrew was born in Swan River on October 23, 1904. He had two sisters, Edith and Alice. Andrew enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg on January 11, 1943 and served as a Corporal with the Paratroops in Canada during World War II. He was discharged in Winnipeg on February 20, 1946. CROSS, Alexander WWII Alexander was born in Scotland in 1904. He joined the 5th Field Hygiene Section, Medical Corps serving in Canada, England, Italy, Holland and Belgium. He passed away in 1993 and was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion General Sir Sam Steele Branch for 46 years.
