He served as a Private with the 28th Battalion until his discharge on June 15, 1918 in Winnipeg. COCHRANE, Walter T. WWII Walter was born in Lovetteville, Alberta on June 8, 1922. He enlisted in the Army in Edmonton, Alberta on June 5, 1941 and served with the 15th RCA in Europe during World War II. He was discharged in Calgary, Alberta on January 19, 1946. Walter and his wife Nora had a son, Glen D. COCKLE, Eric Saunders WWII Eric was born in London, England on August 3, 1919. He enlisted in Winnipeg on March 4, 1941. He served with the Squadron 3R in England during World War II. Sergeant Eric Cockle was discharged in Regina on September 22, 1945. He received a Service Medal. He was married to Joy.
