He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg on October 16, 1941 and served with the RCE in Canada and overseas. Howard was discharged on November 23, 1945. CARTWRIGHT, William Edgar “Ted” WWII William was born in Swan River, Manitoba on February 29, 1912. He enlisted in the Army in Winnipeg on February 13, 1942. Sapper Cartwright served overseas during World War II with the RCE. William was married to Marie Teresa. He passed away in February 1954 and is buried at Ross Lake Cemetery in Flin Flon. CASE, William Joseph WWII William was born in Teulon, Manitoba on April 6, 1925. He enlisted in Winnipeg on July 22, 1941. William served overseas with the 18 CACR, being discharged in Winnipeg on August 30, 1945. He also received the European Medal.
