He was discharged in June 1944. CARSWELL, Arthur Edward WWII Arthur was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan on July 3, 1924. He enlisted in Saskatoon on September 9, 1942 with #15 SFTS serving in England. Arthur was discharged in Moncton, New Brunswick on September 15, 1945 and received the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. His wife was RoseMary. CARTER, Francis Irene Chief Petty Officer Francis Irene Carter served with the Women’s Royal Naval Service in Canada. She received the British Empire Medal at Chippawa. After her service, she held a civilian telegraph job.
